Clifford has an LL. B from the Rivers State University (2002) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.
He has expertise in international law in cross-border transactions involving trans-national companies on enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards both in Nigeria and overseas countries and has in the course of his practice as a litigator handled personally very high profile and complex legal matters for individual, banks, multinational oil and gas companies and other national and trans-national blue chip companies at both trial and appellate courts, including proceedings at international and specialized courts as the ECOWAS Court of West Africa, the Investment and Securities Tribunal, the National Industrial Court.
